In July there will be construction starting for phase 1 of athletic improvements for Forest Hills Northern and Eastern High School.

Forest Hills Eastern High School will be receiving a new synthetic turf baseball and softball field. Equipped with dugouts, bleachers and press-boxes, a building for vending, toilets, storage, plus more.

Forest Hills Northern High School will be getting a synthetic turf auxiliary field that'll be useful for many of the Northern sports teams. This will open doors for better practice spaces, dual sports events and more. This facility will have similar features and facilities as the Eastern High School site to create equity throughout the district.

These two projects are the first of many the district will see as we continue the design work for the 2023 bond that passed last November.

Below are some sneak peaks images of what these athletic facilities will look like after completion. First you will see Eastern High School baseball and softball field layout.

This next image is the design for the Northern High School auxiliary field. Colors and image may vary slightly, but this gives a great first look at what to expect when you see the new field completed.
